Page 1 - About GLSI

Since 1994 Great Lakes Suzuki Institute has offered a 5-day summer flute intensive in the month of July. Our world-class faculty have been invited to teach at Suzuki workshops and festivals all over the globe

We are passionate about youth, music, and flute and recorder playing! Students receive daily master classes, group class, enrichment and a chamber ensemble or reading group. Events include a welcome picnic, informal solo recital, community group performance and closing concert

Our location at St Paul’s United Church (48 Broadway St W) is adjacent to a large green space where students can enjoy packed lunches and rest or stretch between classes. It is a short walk from Lions Park

This year’s theme: BACH TO BASICS!
